Body psychotherapy through touch
"Man deserves that he cares about himself because he carries in his soul the seeds of his future"
Carl G. Jung
Stress, discomfort: when the body begins to speak ...
Our modern lifestyles where overuse is common, problematic events (relational conflicts, mourning, separations, burn out, uneasiness at work ...), situations of aggression, physical or psychological abuse cause us states of stress, physical and mental ill-being.
When we have trouble finding the means to overcome these difficulties, this is often accompanied by psychosomatic disorders (i.e. chronic health disorders without injury or medical cause):
-
bodily discomfort
-
fatigue, insomnia
-
back or joint pain
-
muscle stiffness and tensions,
-
skin disorders,
-
headache, difficult digestion
-
sexual difficulties, libido disorders, etc.
In these conditions, we can feel overwhelmed by our emotions (sadness, anger) or conversely as "far away" from all feelings towards ourselves or others (lack of enthusiasm, difficulty in getting involved).
To be accompanied to get better
In these cases, body psychotherapy, according to a psychotherapeutic approach combining body and speech, is precious and complementary to standard medical care. This allows you to put meaning to the ailments of the body or the soul, to overcome these difficult periods and to overcome these difficulties to feel better in your body and in your life.

My support
I help you to find or regain psychological and bodily well-being through personalized support with a psychotherapeutic orientation, where listening to feelings, felt sense, ailments, emotions and more broadly to the body and life experiences of the person are at the core of the sessions.
My support is firstly based on a verbal exchange, to help you welcome, clarify, work out what needs to be and also on a bodywork, both articulated around the Relation d'Aide par le Toucher ® and also the Feldenkrais ™ method. These 2 methods make it possible to find spaces for physical and psychic resolution, by relying in particular on the combined benefits of the positive activation of the sense of touch and sense of movement, 2 fundamental senses for the development of the person.
This follow-up takes place over a series of regular individual sessions (generally 10 to 20 depending on the difficulty brought up, more if it has been going on for a long time).
In a confidential, caring and safe environment, I am committed from the start of the follow-up to help you direct this personal development work towards a life and body objective, in the sense of an intention to improve for you even in the near future; while ensuring that it remains verifiable and achievable by yourself in the time of the follow-up.
This journey is part of a collaborative and respectful spirit where I help you to become active in your personal improvement process.
Sessions are carried out face-to-face, but it is possible to help you remotely online, in video sessions. In both cases, the therapeutic framework and the psychological and physical support processes are identical ; only certain tools for mobilizing bodily resources change depending on the method chosen.
Sessions can be conducted in French 🇫🇷or in English 🇬🇧

Body psychotherapy through touch
Combining speech and bodywork
to live better
This form of therapy known in french as the "Relation d'Aide par le Toucher® méthod" promotes both the resolution of problematic life situations and the appeasement of the psychosomatic disorders that they cause.
It combines traditional techniques of touch (shiatsu, reflexology, Korean relaxation, californian massage) combined with breathing techniques and psychotherapeutic tools to help unwind tensions. Supporting the person and his/her feelings, sensations, emotions and the associated awareness allows him/her to go better by going beyond difficulties and to move forward with new resources for the future.
This method was developed in the eighties by Jean-Louis Abrassart, a french therapist and is recognized by the French Federation of Body-psychotherapy (Fédération Française de Somato-psychothérapie et Somatothérapie).
In case of trauma or abuse issues, this method offers a specific approach inspired by the work of Dr. Clyde Ford. On the other hand, it is insufficient on its own in cases of addiction and is unsuitable in case of psychotic disorders.
